Being a student, I am always looking for bargains. Whether it's Groupon meal deals or 'One day only!' shopping offers, getting something for less is always a rewarding feat. And when it comes to clothes, there's nothing I love more than finding a high end lookalike at high street price. So get ready for it, because this is a good one...
J.W. Anderson is one of THE British designers of the moment and front row tickets for his highly anticipated London Fashion Week show are sure to be at the top of the fashion elites list. His new season A/W collection is all about classic cuts with a modern twist, creating effortlessly cool pieces that are versatile enough to wear on a day to day basis. However, (there's always a but when it comes to designer delights) the price tags are invariably that little bit out of our reach. Don't fret though this is the good bit, last week while I was searching out some new Lust-Haves i.e. online browsing, I came across the Gap Windowpane Pullover, which in all it's grid patterned entirety caught my eye immediately and I knew I had to pop it in my shopping basket. When it came in the post (the very next day may I add, amazing delivery from Gap) I was not disappointed... but this pleasure was multiplied by 10 when I realised I had actually purchased a J.W. Anderson copy cat. The £450 Checked Ribbed Neck Sweater is nothing short of the perfect Autumn jumper but for less than a tenth of the price the Gap high street alternative is the obvious choice.
